Jordan Hancock (born August 12, 2003) is an American college football cornerback for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Early life

Hancock attended North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. As a junior, he totaled 15 tackles and two interceptions. Hancock originally committed to play college football for the Clemson Tigers before flipping his commitment to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

College career

As a freshman in 2021, Hancock appeared in three games where he notched two tackles and a pass deflection. He missed the first six games of the 2022 season with a leg injury. Hancock made his first career start in week 10 of the 2022 season against Indiana, finishing the year with five tackles. In week 10 of the 2023 season, he notched his first career interception, which he returned 93 yards for a touchdown, in a win over Rutgers. For his performance against Rutgers, Hancock was named the Thorpe Award National Defensive Back of the Week.
