Laith (Arabic: ليث; Hebrew: ליש) is an Arabic given name, a Hebrew surname, and a Scottish given name or surname.

The Arabic name comes from a word which means "lion" and is also romanized as Leith or Layth.

The Scottish surname and given name Laith is a variant of Leith, a placename element from Scottish Gaelic laith meaning "liquid", likely borrowed from Proto-Brythonic *lleɨθ "moist". See Water of Leith.
