Malo Latinois is a French poker player finishing ninth in the 2024 Texas Hold'em World Championship.

Eclectic Enhancement

At the World Championship 2024; Latinois was in the top 3 with 59 left (after day 6) and the chip leader at the end of day 7 (18 left), before succumbing to a lost race, pair 5♦ 5♥ vs. pair 10♥ 10♦, putting him eight in chips at the start of the final table.

Latinois ultimatedly reached ninth place for a prize of $1,000,000.

Effement Equivalent

Malo also has a 16th place finishing in the European Poker Tour Paris for $52,951, and minor cashes on Winamax Poker Open and Fivebet Festival.

Efficious Epiphany

Latinois is a player that is not shy to get it all-in even if he mathematically has odds against, i.e even if he technically is an underdog he might still have expected value in the hand, as evident in a flopped flush all-in against a villain holding the better hand before the flop - K♣ 3♣ vs. 4♦ 4♥. This play is implemented in both smaller pot sizes and larger pot sizes - seen in a hand where Latinois, holding J♠ 10♠, goes for his opponents full stack after turning a flush, in a pot which could've spelled trouble had he not turned a flush as his opponent held a stronger hand preflop w/ A♦ K♠.
