Marak (Persian: مرك) is a village in, and the capital of, Kahshang Rural District of the Central District of Birjand County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 532 in 136 households. The following census in 2011 counted 568 people in 155 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 569 people in 151 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
