Mark Raffety is a British-Australian actor, perhaps best known for playing Darcy Tyler in the Australian soap opera Neighbours from 2000 to 2005 and 2025.
Early life
Raffety was born in Portsmouth, England. His family emigrated to Australia when he was very young and then moved around a lot between Australia and New Zealand.
Career
Raffety played Doctor Darcy Tyler in Neighbours. In early 2003, producers decided to write the character out. After leaving Neighbours, Raffety appeared in an episode of the police drama Stingers as a stockbroker.
Raffety has appeared in several films and television series, including The Last Tattoo (1994), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess, The Secret Life of Us and Satisfaction.
