The Maxus eTerron 9 is an electric pickup truck produced by Chinese automaker Maxus since 2024.
It was presented on 17 September 2024 at the IAA Transportation in Hanover, announcing its arrival on the European market.
Overview
The eTerron 9 offers a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes and a payload of 620 kg (1,370 lb) in its 1.7 m (5 ft 7 in) long rear dump body, which extends to 2.4 with the tailgate down. It offers an electrically opening frunk (front trunk) with a capacity of 236 dm with two integrated seats.
Powertrain
The truck is equipped with two electric motors (125 kW (168 hp) at the front and 200 kW (270 hp) at the rear) for a combined power of 325 kW (436 hp), powered by a LFP battery with a capacity of 102 kWh (370 MJ). It supports direct current (DC) fast charging up to 115 kW (154 hp), allowing it to charge from 20% to 80% in 40 minutes.
