Meet the Barbarians (French: Les barbares) is a 2024 French comedy drama film directed by Julie Delpy. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024. Also selected in the competition section of Cairo International Film Festival 2024.
Premise
In Paimpont, a small community in Brittany, residents prepare to welcome a family of Ukrainian refugees and are surprised when the family that arrives are actually refugees from Syria.
