Mehar (Urdu/Punjabi: مہر) is an honorary title used in Punjab region in Pakistan and India. In Pakistan Mehar title is used by Punjabi Arain and Sial tribes. It maybe confused with Mahar (مھر) a sindhi tribe or Mahar (مہار) a marathi tribe
