Miss Grand Ivory Coast (French: Miss Grande Côte d'Ivoire) is a national female beauty pageant based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. It was founded in 2022 by the Comite Miss Grande Côte d'Ivoire (COMIGCI) with Kelly Serge and Tatiana kacou as the directors. However, due to the lack of the Miss Grand International license for Ivory Coast, the winner of the contest has been sent to compete at other international pageants instead, such as Miss Planet International and Miss Premium African International.
Previously, Ivory Coast participated in Miss Grand International once in 2014 with Richlove Amissah as the representative, but was unplaced.
History
The Miss Grand Ivory Coast was held for the first time in 2022 by Kelly Serge et Tatiana . The contest featured nine national finalists and was held on October 1 at the Amphithéatre de la Cité Rouge in Abidjan, where a Baoulé candidate from the host city, Sandra N'guessan, was announced the winner. N'guessan was expected to represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant in Indonesia, but withdrew since the license was not purchased by the local organizer, and N'guessan was sent to other international pageants instead.
In 2024, the right to send an Ivory Coast representative to Miss Grand International 2024 was granted to a Paris-based pageant organizer, Celest Productions, headed by Angell Robles Yanez, who has also been serving as the director of Miss Grand France since 2023.
