Moneyview is an Indian fintech company, operated by Whizdm Innovations Pvt. Ltd., based in Bangalore. Moneyview operates in digital lending and financial services. Moneyview provides products like personal loans, a personal finance manager, credit score tracking, and digital gold.
History
Moneyview was founded in 2014 by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal with the aim of simplifying finances and providing financial inclusion to all Indians. The company initially started by providing a financial management app for Android.
In November 2016, Moneyview shifted its primary focus to digital lending. Moneyview is a founding member of the Digital Lending Association of India (DLAI). The DLAI comprises over 80 digital lending players; including Cred, Paytm, Experian, and RBL Bank; and represents around 85% of the transaction volume of the digital credit industry in India.
In September 2023, Moneyview received ISO 27001:2022 certification, an international standard for management and protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information handled by the company.
In October 2024, Moneyview partnered with CaratLane to create a digital platform for gold investment.
As of December 2022, Moneyview had an annualized disbursal run-rate of $1.2 billion, with over $800 million in assets under management.
Business model
Moneyview's digital lending works on a revenue-sharing arrangement with its lending partners, where the company bears the cost of acquiring and servicing customers, and the lender provides the capital.
Moneyview has partnered with 15 financial institutions to offer credit and financial products. These include DMI Finance, Aditya Birla Capital, IDFC First Bank, Whizdm Finance, Clix Capital, Piramal Finance, and others.
