Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU; Arabic: جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين) is a university located in Hebron, West Bank, Palestine. The school was founded in 1978 by the University Graduates Union (UGU).
PPU has five colleges: College of Engineering, College of Information Technology and Computer Engineering, College of Applied Science, College of Administrative Science and Informatics and College of Applied Professions.
History
It was established by the University Graduates Union in 1978, as Hebron Polytechnic.
- In 2013 it became the first entrepreneurial university
- In 2017 it received the Turino Process Award for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- In 2018 it established the college of Medicine and Heath Sciences
