It is proposed that this article be deleted because of the following concern:

There seems to be only one source on this supposed Riff branch of the Zenati subfamily. The name is bizarre enough, as it uses the name of one of the languages that are supposedly in it, with most of the other languages not even being close to the Rif mountains. The source itself is dubious as well, it's repeating a 2001 subgrouping of Berber and contains a supposed Berber language, "Zurg", that doesn't actually exist. If necessary, this proposed branch can be added to the Zenati article, but perhaps under a different name still. (proposed by Lankdadank)

In some classifications, the Riff (Rif) languages are a branch of the Zenati Berber languages (Northern Berber), of the Rif area of Morocco, that includes Riffian, one of the major Berber languages.
