Primera Asturfútbol is the first level of the Asturian local football league system. All of the clubs are based in the Principality of Asturias.
The League
The league consists of 20 teams in one group. At the end of the season, three teams are promoted to Tercera Federación – Group 2. The last three classified are relegated to Segunda Asturfútbol (formerly Primera Regional de Asturias and Segunda RFFPA).
For the current 2024–25 season, the current champions, Real Sporting de Gijón C, will play again in Primera Asturfútbol, as they did not promote due to Sporting Atlético has a place in Tercera Federación.
From the 2018–19 season to the 2020–21 season, the champion of the league qualified for the Copa del Rey. And since the 2021–22 season is the best non-promoted team to Tercera Federación – Group 2 which qualifies for the Copa del Rey.

Segunda Asturfútbol is the second level of the Asturian local football league system. It is administered by the Royal Asturias Football Federation.
League format
The league is played in two groups of 18 teams each. At the end of the season, the two champions are promoted with the winner of promotion playoff of runners-up (three teams in total). Three clubs in each group are relegated to Tercera Asturfútbol (six in total).
For the current 2024–25 season, Barcia CF B and SD Colloto B declined to play in Segunda Asturfútbol, so their places were filled by Rosal FC, which was the best qualified of the relegated teams, and Boal CF, which was the best non-promoted team from Tercera Asturfútbol.

Tercera Asturfútbol is the third level of the Asturian local football league system. It is also administered by the Royal Asturias Football Federation.
League format
The league is played in four groups: three of 14 teams and one of 16. At the end of the season, the four champions are promoted to Segunda Asturfútbol with the two winners of promotion playoff (six teams in total). On September 17th, Real Federación de Fútbol del Principado de Asturias announced CD Salesianos Masaveu from Oviedo/Uviéu declined to play in Tercera Asturfútbol, once the groups and the schedule were made. For this season, Group 2 is made by fourteen teams instead of fifteen.
For the current 2024–25 season, five new teams join Tercera Asturfútbol: Ayer CF, CD San Luis, Club de Campo La Fresneda B, Marítimo Racing Club and Real Titánico B. On the other hand, six teams will not play the current season, including CD Salesianos Masaveu from Oviedo/Uviéu: CD Ujo, Escuela de Fútbol Viesques, Miranda CF, Puerto Vega CF B and Racing de Pravia.

Former league Femenino Regional de Asturias was split in two new competitions: Primera Asturfutfem (fifth tier) and Segunda Asturfutfem (sixth tier). Primera Asturfutfem is made up by 10 teams, including relegations from Tercera Federación FUTFEM.

Former league Femenino Regional de Asturias was split in two new competitions: Primera Asturfutfem (fifth tier, is made up by 10 teams) and Segunda Asturfutfem (sixth tier). Current season Segunda Asturfutfem is made up by 25 teams, divided in two groups.
