Shemshak-e Pain (Persian: شمشك پايين) was a village in Rudbar-e Qasran Rural District of Rudbar-e Qasran District, Shemiranat County, Tehran province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 460 in 130 households. The following census in 2011 counted 371 people in 120 households.

After the census, the villages of Darband Sar, Darrud, Jirud, Sefidestan, Shemshak-e Bala, and Shemshak-e Pain merged to establish the city of Shemshak.
