Talab Tillo is an urban area of Jammu City in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a bustling residential and commercial hub that holds historical and cultural significance.
Etymology
It is believed to have derived its name from a saint named "Tilloo" and from a "talab" which was situated here. "Talab" is a Dogri word which means "pond" in English. Earlier it used to be called Tillo Talab but with the passage of time the name changed to 'Talab Tillo'.
