General suggestions

Coderenius asked me take a look at this article, so I'll post some thoughts below.

  • I think the quality of the sourcing needs some shoring up. For example, the claim about the MY coin is sourced to a blog, and self-published websites are unlikely to be considered reliable sources. The same goes for the cites of Mira Yachting and Dalyan Kilim Hotel, they seem promotional and we might be better off not using them to draw general conclusions, such as the one that tour companies and charters are "thriving" in Ozdere. On the other hand, using scientific reports like the one about the swordfish fishery is good. Journal articles, news websites, and books are all good reliable sources. Google Books can be used to find sizeable previews of certain books, and Jstor is a good place for finding journal articles. Altamel (talk) 07:49, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
  • "It was during the end-B.C. times and early B.C.E. that..." BC and BCE both refer to the time before the year 1 CE/AD, so this sentence doesn't make sense. Can a specific date be provided?
  • Is the Seferihisar district in the western neighborhood or close to it?
  • Same for the Selcuk district,, is it in the eastern neighborhood, close to it, or close to Claros? Altamel (talk) 08:38, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

More to follow. Altamel (talk) 08:38, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

  • 1. @Altamel: I agree on this as well, however the problem is the sources I used were the only ones that mentioned Özdere at all, which is unfortunate because most of these are POV-ed and really just trying to promote their businesses. Point out specific sources I should replace to me on my talk page and I'll do the best I can to find better ones. Perhaps you can help as well.
  • 2. Oops, yeah that was my mistake. Probably a mistake in typing, I'll fix it. I'll try to find an extra source offering a specific date, if that's possible, but if not I'll simply omit the dates from the Strabo sentence altogether.
  • 3 and 4. Yes, Özdere is in Menderes district, but it comprises the entire coastline of the district. That means that to its immediate west it borders the next district, Seferihisar, and to its immediate east it borders Selçuk district. I think you already had it down.
