Video Section

this portion makes no sense, and it's partly POV. The clothing in Crazy was no more "sexy and skimpy" then a bra and hiked up skirt. Also, how is it not a remix? 69.209.199.118 (talk) 03:53, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Genre?

This song is NOT bubblegum pop! I should know, I am the ULTIMATE Britney fan (and no, I'm not Chris Crocker!).

Reception - Chart performance

Resolved comments

  • I'm confused as to why this section is so short? By the looks of the chart table below, the song charted in a lot of territories. This section could definitely be expanded into a standalone section, not a sub section. Summarize them in these paragraphs: Oceanic (Australia and NZ), European and American. Then I will go through the section.

  • The music video premiered on MTV's Making the Video special that aired on July 18, 1999, while debuting on TRL at number four, on August 24, 1999. It is the longest running by a female artist on TRL, staying on the top ten for seventy-three days. → Hmm, this bothers me. The second paragraph needs reworking. Add the premiere date to the first paragraph, expand the second with a much better synopsis, then add the TRL and info after the synopsis, then reviews.

Becase when it's a remix, the common is to use . When it's part of the song's name, we use (...). Since the song is (You Drive Me) Crazy, it would make much sense to use (YDM) C (...). That's what I think, but if it needs to be changed, then I'll do it. - Saulo 17:52, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

References

Resolved comments

  • Refs 1 and 2 are both Rolling Stone, but are formatted differently? 1's Rolling Stone isn't linked, but the second is. Should be the other way around. Wenner Media should be the publisher for both. Check other Rolling Stone references too.
  • Ref 7 has a missing publisher, which is Viacom
  • Ref 11 per consensus shouldn't actually have the url included.
  • Ref 12 doesn't need to be linked again.
  • Ref 15 doesn't need to be linked (Rolling Stone, Wenner Media). You only link them the first time you use them for references.
  • Ref 22 should be Official Charts Company
  • Ref 32 RPM is already linked in ref 31.
  • Ref 37 has missing work and publisher parameters
  • Ref 38 work is MTV Networks and the publisher is Viacom.
  • Ref 39 same as ref 38 and need to be unlinked
  • Ref 40 same as ref 38 and 39 and need to be unlinked.
  • Ref 41 they don't need to be linked again
  • Ref 43 they don't need to be linked again
  • Ref 45 title shouldn't be in capitals
  • Ref 46 they don't need to be linked again
  • Ref 48 they don't need to be linked again. You need to make sure that you are consistent with work and publisher parameters and that they are only linked the first time.
  • Ref 50, 51, 52, 53 Jive don't need to be linked again.
  • Ref 84 Amazon doesn't need to be checked again.

You need to check through several times. Aaron 21:28, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

To be honest, I can't actually see where you have made corrections to these?? I picked a few at random and they hadn't been fixed. You need to go through several times. Aaron

Orphaned references in (You Drive Me) Crazy

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of (You Drive Me) Crazy's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "best":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 16:39, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
