Te Rangitahau (?–1900) was a notable New Zealand tribal leader, warrior. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Ngati Hineuru and Ngati Tuwharetoa iwi . Born in Opepe, New Zealand , he fought in Te Kooti's War .
