Tellef Solbakk Raabe (born 25 January 1991) is a Norwegian media researcher and artist from Ålesund. He is the older brother of singer Sigrid.

Music

Raabe released his debut album Idiographic in 2016 in Norway under the Riot Factory label, and internationally under Shapes Recordings in 2017. He has also composed music for theatrical performances and films. His final live performance to date was in Istanbul in December 2016.

Research

Raabe holds an MPhil and a PhD in media sociology from the University of Cambridge, where he studied the digital transformation of Norwegian newspapers. He is currently employed by the Centre for Applied Research at the Norwegian School of Economics. Raabe is also a columnist for Norway's leading broadsheet, Aftenposten.
