Sai Weng refers to a chengyu, or four-character Chinese idiom, meaning "a blessing in disguise" (simplified Chinese: 塞翁失马; traditional Chinese: 塞翁失馬; pinyin: sài wēng shī mǎ). A literal translation would be "the old frontiersman lost his horse", with Sai Weng the old man. It comes from a well-known story about bad luck turning good and vice versa.
