- thank you for your message. However, if you would have bothered to check the sources thouroughly you would have noticed that Brown may have decided to escape in 1848, but he actually was delivered to Philadelphia in 1849. See for example:

- Please accept my apology, I went off of the wording of the first source attached to the claim, which does clearly say 1848. However looking into it 1849 is the correct year. - Aoidh (talk) 01:19, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
