Valentina L. Garza (also credited as Valentina Garza) is an American screenwriter and television producer.
Career
Born in Los Angeles in a Cuban and black household, she studied comparative literature at the University of California, Berkeley. She began her work in television as a writers' assistant and occasional writer on Los Beltrán, a Telemundo sitcom. After sending a spec script, she worked for six years on The Simpsons and then on Bordertown. She later worked on The CW's Jane the Virgin; the network rejected her proposed spin-off show in 2019.
Garza wrote The Simpsons episodes "Loan-a Lisa" and "Four Great Women and a Manicure". She was nominated for an Annie Award for the latter episode.
