My Misplaced Pages Philosophy
- Quality over quantity. There is too much crap on Misplaced Pages. This admirable project is accumulating crap at an ever increasing rate and, apart from vigilant folks who prowl the new articles section tagging bad articles for speedy deletion, there just isn't enough being done to curb the influx of utter tripe.
Misplaced Pages does not need an article on every album ever released. Misplaced Pages does not need an article on every city, county and township in America, or every star in the galaxy, or a synopsis of every episode of The Family Guy (which by the way is a damn funny show). Misplaced Pages would be better off not listing the ingredients of Virgil's Root Beer.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to fly the Deletionist flag over at AfD. I no longer care if I'm outvoted. Someone has to do it.
