One example of the Internet reaction to the "Binders of Women" Comment by Romney

Binders full of Women is an internet meme begun at the second U.S. presidential debate of 2012. In response to a question about pay equity, Mitt Romney said, "I had the chance to pull together a cabinet, and all the applicants seemed to be men… I went to a number of women's groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks?' and they brought us whole binders full of women." The remark was made during the debate with Barack Obama and triggered an immediate reaction.

A Tumblr page was created for pictures mocking the phrase, such as doctored photos of women with three-ring binders, and a fake book jacket of a Jodi Picoult novel called “My Sister’s Trapper Keeper.”
