In the case of the indiatimes.com site, there was a bad regular expression in the bot's database that caused a match - the regular expression has since been removed. It is possible that other reports may be generated based on other criteria in the future. There is a rather long paragraph at the top of the reports that explains a bit more about the bot. These two new accounts are clearly the same person, creating sandboxes (1) (2) in identical styles. Both lead to different sites, but clearly by the same original author/company. There's nothing on them that would be useful for us to link to.
But… since these are two different sites, they don't strictly come under our rules for blacklisting – ie, multiple links to the same site. So I could be in entirely the wrong place, and if so, please suggest a board that might be interested in this (if there is one!). - @Ohnoitsjamie: (or others watching this page) I suspect reporting these here is just me clogging up a working page. If so, I'd propose moving this entire section to somewhere else. But my knowledge of these outer ends of the 'pedia is shaky: should I move it to Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Spam or to Misplaced Pages:External links/Noticeboard or to somewhere in the Misplaced Pages:Village pump... or even leave it here if it's not actually in the way?

When I get chance, I'll run some checks on the accounts and see if I can flush out any more and possibly block any IPs that are being abused, especially if they're proxies. I'm unable to figure out if the links Snapdragon25p has been trying to add to Mico Foundation are legitimate attempts to add a citation to the article or just attempts to add spam links. - Going to some lengths to add that spam: this edit adds a bunch of made-up book titles, some of them similar to existing books by the authors in question, with "Fiberglass" added to the title.
