The Battle of Gaza City is an ongoing battle between Hamas and Israel. Gaza City is the most populated city in Gaza and the battle started on 30 October 2023, when Israel and Hamas clashed in Gaza City. There are reports that Israel is trying to surround Gaza City.
Israel Defense Forces on November 2nd announced that the army has officially encircled the capital and the largest city of the Gaza Strip which is called the stronghold for Hamas.
