29 is also a phrase originally said by Jacob. It is believed to have began when, in an English lesson, pupils where giving back books to the teacher. The number on Jacobs book was 39. when he said out this number, it sounded weird because his voice was deep and therefore found humorous. For reasons forgotten, it soon changed to 29. The other pupils found this humorous and he kept repeating it when asked. however when other pupils started doing impressions, he was unimpressed and soon stopped. Nowadays the number is always repeated by the pupils as a joke. Jacob never says it anymore as a result. Some instances involve it being used in funny situations such as, in a music lesson, the pupils of 9x2 (Jacobs group) where asked to stop different parts of an ice age video, the first couple stops where sensible, but after that, they started stopping it at points from 29 seconds, and from then on after for every number ending in a nine For some pupils the number seems to haunt them, wherever they go it appears or shows up in some way or another. | |||
