Renewable energy is energy from a source which can be managed so that it is not subject to depletion in a human timescale. Sources include the sun's rays, wind, waves, rivers, tides, biomass, and geothermal. Renewable energy does not include energy sources which are traditionally thought to be dependent upon limited resources, such as fossil fuels and nuclear fission power.

For more information, see Renewable energy.

The List of energy topics compiles various energy technologies and issues.
