LGV Perpignan–Figueres

I think article LGV Perpignan–Figueres needs updating, because I saw that trains are now running from Paris to Barcelona instead of to just Figueres. So presumably the railway is now from Perpignan to (close to?) Barcelona. Marcocapelle (talk) 20:37, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

Done I travelled on this line direct to Barcelona in April 2014. Travellers are recommended not to use the old rail route where you can get stranded for hours at the rundown frontier towns of Cerbère or Portbou: Noyster (talk), 11:20, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Pictures needed

2239 Spanish municipalities do not have any photograph on Commons. Not a single one, good or bad, old or new. That means that more than a quarter of them cannot be seen in Wikimedia. And that's a lot. So we are trying to get pictures of them. If you happen to have any, please upload them. We'll be grateful. A complete list of all Spanish municipalities without pictures can be found here. You can see we are already working on it but help is badly needed. Thank you! B25es (talk) 10:26, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

translations

I'm new to Misplaced Pages and I´m wondering how the translations are managed. Some don't seem very accurate and, as a translator, i find that quite frustrating. How does it work on this site? Benderloch (talk) 07:46, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Regards - Benderloch.

Translations from other Wikipedias are always welcome - please see Misplaced Pages:Translation#How to translate. Many articles carry a notice {{Expand Spanish}} showing that the Spanish Misplaced Pages has content which could with benefit be translated to the corresponding article on English Misplaced Pages. These articles are also listed here. Then there is this list, divided into articles not in English, and those "needing cleanup", i.e. someone identified them as poor translations, often machine translations. Your input would be much appreciated. I hope this helps to answer your question: Noyster (talk), 09:09, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

  • When? June 2015
  • How can you help?
1.) Create or improve LGBT-related articles and showcase the results of your work here
2.) Upload photographs or other media related to LGBT culture and history, including pride events, and add images to relevant Misplaced Pages articles; feel free to create a subpage with a gallery of your images (see examples from last year)
3.) Contribute to an LGBT-related task force at another Wikimedia project (Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, etc.)

Or, view or update the current list of Tasks. This campaign is supported by the Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group, an officially recognized affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation. Remember, Wiki Loves Pride is about creating and improving LGBT-related content at Wikimedia projects, and content should have a neutral point of view. One does not need to identify as LGBT or any other gender or sexual minority to participate. This campaign is about adding accurate, reliable information to Misplaced Pages, plain and simple, and all are welcome!

If you have any questions, please leave a message on the campaign's main talk page.

Thanks, and happy editing!
