Ghost town in Colorado, USA

Cross Mountain is a ghost town in Moffat County, in the U.S. state of Colorado.

The Cross Mountain post office opened on July 16, 1919, and closed on November 15, 1943. The town got its name from the nearby mesa, also named Cross Mountain. The mesa is contained within a wilderness study area and is owned by the Bureau of Land Management.
