Zibashahr (Persian: زيباشهر) is a city in, and the capital of, Garkan-e Jonubi District of Mobarakeh County, Isfahan province, Iran. It also serves as the administrative center for Garkan Rural District.
History
In 2002, the village of Khulenjan merged with the villages of Adergan (آدرگان) and Lenaj (لنج) to form the new city of Zibashahr.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 9,071 in 2,466 households. The following census in 2011 counted 9,668 people in 2,881 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 10,200 people in 3,163 households.
