The 2024 Pennsylvania Democratic presidential primary took place on April 23, 2024, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election. 186 delegates to the Democratic National Convention were allocated to presidential candidates.

Incumbent President Joe Biden ran for re-election at the time, but later withdrew and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. Dean Phillips, who suspended his primary campaign on March 6, 2024, was the only other candidate on the ballot.

President Biden won every county. Protest votes for the withdrawn candidate Dean Phillips and write-in candidates combined for 12% of the vote.

Campaign

Incumbent President Joe Biden announced his bid for a second term on April 25, 2023, four years after he announced his 2020 campaign. He held his first official campaign rally in Philadelphia on June 17, touting the successes of his economic policy.
