Ahun (French pronunciation: [a.œ̃]; Occitan: Aiun) is a commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France.

Geography

A farming area comprising the village and several hamlets situated in the valley of the Creuse, some 15 km (9.3 mi) southeast of Guéret, at the junction of the D942, D13 and the D18. It was the Roman site of Acitodunum, an important town on the route between Limoges and Clermont-Ferrand.
