A few months after Arriva took over the route, one of the buses used on the route was involved in a serious accident. A van crashed into it and continued on into a house.<ref> Accessed September 5, 2008.</ref> The bus was away for repairs for a number of months. During this time, the company needed an extra bus, so a red liveried ] bodied ] was transferred on loan from ] depot, another part of ]. This was eventually returned. However, Arriva realised they were going to need a spare bus even when the accident damaged Enviro200 Dart was fixed, so an older ] bodied ] was transferred, again from Darford. |

On 3 October 2009, route 465 was included in the sale of Arriva Guildford & West Surrey's Horsham operation to Metrobus. It was the only Transport for London contract to be worked out of the company's Crawley garage.
